Okinawa's first cafe produced by Mi Cafeto and operated by people with disabilities opened in the call center in Chatan-cho, Nakagami District, Okinawa Prefecture

On August 28, 2020, a cafe produced by Mi Cafeto, which pursues the achievement of the SDGs through coffee, opened in our call center as the first location in Okinawa to provide coffee services for call center employees. It is the Company's third cafe operated by people with disabilities following cafes in Tokyo and Sapporo.

Our Okinawa office is one of the facilities promoting the employment of the physically challenged. They are working to establish an environment that enables diverse human resources to work successfully while cooperating closely with a local independent living support center for people with disabilities. In these circumstances, we decided to open the third cafe at Okinawa Solution Center 2 in Chatan-cho, Nakagami District, Okinawa Prefecture as a participant in Sustainable Coffee Challenge.

The cafe, like the locations in Tokyo and Sapporo, uses Doi Tung, a high-quality, sustainable coffee varietal. The Mi Cafeto experts train our employees with disabilities to brew and serve coffee. The goal is to create challenging and satisfying jobs for people with disabilities and increase employee engagement at the call centers.
