The UNGC is the world's largest sustainability initiative to build a sound global society by the United Nations and the private sector joining forces. The companies and organizations signatory to the UNGC continue to strive to realize 10 principles relating to the protection of human rights, the elimination of unfair labor, the response to the environment and anti-corruption based on the commitment of their top management who endorse those principles. We signed up to the UNGC in August 2022.

The WEPs are action principles for companies to place gender equality at the core of management and to then voluntarily work to achieve that equality. The UN Global Compact and UN Women formulated the WEPs in 2013. The aim is to achieve the gender equality which is indispensable for sustainable and inclusive economic growth while enhancing the economic and social value of companies at the same time. We signed up to the WEPs in September 2022.

The Financial Stability Board (FSB) established the TCFD at the request of the G20. It did this to examine how companies should disclose climate-related information and how financial institutions should respond. The TCFD published its final report in June 2017. It recommends companies disclose items relating to climate change-related risks and opportunities. We endorsed these recommendations in March 2022.

The CDP is an international NGO working in the environment field such as with climate change. It is widely recognized around the world as the global standard for corporate environmental information disclosures. We have been responding to its written inquiries about climate change since FY2022.

The Japan Climate Leaders' Partnership (JCLP) is a unique Japanese business group established in 2009 with the recognition that industry must develop a healthy sense of urgency and initiate proactive action to realize a decarbonized society. We joined as an associate member in November 2024.

The Japan Climate Initiative (JCI) is a network of non-governmental actors in Japan. It is proactively working to realize the decarbonized society sought by the Paris Agreement. This network brings together companies, local governments, organizations and NGOs which endorse the declaration of "joining the front line of the global push for decarbonization from Japan." We endorsed this declaration in September 2024.

Business for Marriage Equality is a campaign to promote marriage equality in Japan (legalization of same-sex marriage). It is jointly operated by three non-profit organizations active in Japan: Marriage For All Japan (MFAJ), Lawyers for LGBT & Allies Network (LLAN) and NPO Nijiiro Diversity. We endorsed this campaign in August 2021.

The Sport in Life Consortium is a consortium comprised of private companies, organizations and local governments which endorse the philosophy of "Sport in Life" in which sport plays a part in the lives of each person. The consortium aims to create a society where many people can enjoy sports. We joined the consortium in November 2023.
