BELLSYSTEM24 Holdings, Inc. (Headquarters: Minato Ward, Tokyo; President, CEO and Representative Director: Shunsuke Noda; hereinafter, "we") formulated the Policy on Climate Change, which aims to achieve carbon neutrality by 2040 by promoting active actions on a step-by-step basis, considering the significant impacts of climate change on management and society as the global response to climate change progresses.
We will aim to achieve carbon-neutral by 2040, based on the Policy on Climate Change below, and disclose regularly its specific measures and achievements.
By 2025, the goal is to achieve carbon neutrality in some of our facilities and all of our data centers and to reduce company-wide greenhouse gas emissions by 30% compared to 2019 levels.
By 2030, the goal is to reduce company-wide greenhouse gas emissions by 50% compared to 2019 levels.
By 2040, we will achieve carbon-neutral.
The goal is to achieve reductions equivalent to or greater than Scope 1 and 2.
We will clearly designate a director responsible for this policy and provide oversight by the Board of Directors to ensure its implementation.
We expressed its support for the TCFD (Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures) recommendations.
We submitted a commitment letter to the SBT Initiative, an organization that certifies SBTs (Science Based Targets), which is the greenhouse gas emission reduction targets that scientifically consistent with the targets required by the Paris Agreement.
We expressed its support for COOL CHOICE, the national campaign for realizing decarbonized society.
* The "COOL CHOICE" is an initiative that encourages people to make all kinds of "smart choice" that contribute to prevention of global warming.
