BellSystem24 sponsors the movie Hiroshima Piano as part of support to art and culture

BellSystem24 sponsored Hiroshima Piano (director: Toshihiro Goto; casts: Shiro Sano, Tomu Muto (AKB48), and other) as part of its patronage of the arts and culture. This original movie will debut in Hiroshima-shi, Hiroshima today. Beginning in Hiroshima, the movie will be screened across the nation. The goal of the movie is to convey the importance of preserving the memories of the war and bombing and providing the current generation 75 years after the bombing with an opportunity to think about world peace through the existence and sound of a piano that had experienced the bombing during the war. Empathizing with the themes of the movie, BellSystem24 decided to sponsor the movie as it believes the movie is in harmony with the 16th UN Sustainable Development Goal (SDG), "Peace, justice, and strong institutions."

BellSystem24 sponsors The 10th NIPPON IT Charity EKIDEN as part of its CSR initiatives

BellSystem24 will sponsor The 10th NIPPON IT Charity EKIDEN organized by NIPPON IT Charity Ekiden Executive Committee (chairperson: Chuck Wilson) and co-organized by Tokyo Waterfront City Association (chairperson: Hisashi Hieda) to be held on November 10, 2019. Some of our employees will participate in the event as runners. The NIPPON IT Charity EKIDEN is a charity event that started in 2010 to connect people through sports in the IT industry. Profits from the event will be donated to organizations supporting the employment of people who are depressed or socially reclusive.

It is said that the increase in the number of people suffering from depression began in the IT industry because it is a special type of business while it is regarded as a lively and energetic field. BellSystem24 decided to sponsor the event, sympathizing with its theme. The event wishes to support young people working to overcome present hardships by encouraging participants to help and cheer each other on through the sport, ekiden.

BellSystem24 participates in a volunteer activity organized by the Okinawa Clean Coast Network (OCCN) for the realization of beautiful seas

BellSystem24 participated in a volunteer activity organized by the Okinawa Clean Coast Network (OCCN) for the realization of beautiful seas.

Participants gathered at Chura Sun Beach, a beautiful white sand beach loved by local residents and tourists that is three minutes from the Toyosaki site by car.
Surprisingly, over 800 people participated in the event, picking up all of the garbage on the wide beach. Little children from Bell Kids Toyosaki which is attached to the Toyosaki Solution Center also participated.

Plastic waste: 5 bags
Combustible garbage: 70 bags
Incombustible garbage: 5 bags

Agomago-chan, the mascot of Tomigusuku, the location of Toyosaki, and Umimaru-kun, the mascot of the Japan Coast Guard, came to the event.

BellSystem24 volunteers to participate in a garbage collection event organized by Asahikawa

The employees of the Asahikawa Solution Center participated in a garbage collection volunteer event organized by the city office.
Participants cleaned the three blocks from the square in front of JR Asahikawa Station to Nijo Street near the Asahikawa Solution Center. Some participants said they continued to pick up garbage automatically even after the event was over. We will continue to encourage proactive participation in events that contribute to communities.

BellSystem24 volunteers in beachcombing at Mihama Beach in Chatan, Okinawa

Employees and their families of three Solution Centers in Okinawa have volunteered in the cleaning of Mihama Beach for 12 consecutive years. This year, they also cleaned the American Village, the commercial facilities where Okinawa Solution Center 1 is located.

Participating employees commented that it was sad to see lots of garbage along the beach, and that they wanted to conserve the nature of Okinawa, having heard that the sea has become very dirty over the last several years from local residents. We will continue to encourage proactive participation in activities that contribute to communities.

BellSystem24 donates to Kyoto University's Center for iPS Cell Research and Application

BellSystem24 donated, via a charity event, to Kyoto University's Center for iPS Cell Research and Application ("CiRA"; address: Sakyo-ku, Kyoto) led by Director Shinya Yamanaka who received the 2012 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine. We received a letter of gratitude from CiRA

CiRA has continued to do research into clinical applications of iPS cells to provide patients with new therapies. Their research is funded by their supporters. CiRA's idea of sharing the results of their research with society is in harmony with our corporate vision. This has resulted in our donations to assist them in their continued and sustainable research and early research achievements.

BellSystem24 participates in Spogomi, a volunteer event collecting garbage as a sport

When we conducted a questionnaire survey of employees, many respondents expressed their desire to contribute to communities.

This is why we participated in Supogomi in the Kokubun area, the busy quarter of Sendai, Miyagi.
A questionnaire survey was conducted after the event, revealing a high degree of satisfaction among participating employees.

They commented that they felt nice, seeing their town getting cleaner, and that some community members greeted them and expressed their thanks.

BellSystem24 will continue to hold the events to contribute to communities.

BellSystem24 volunteers to participate in light installation at American Village, the commercial facilities in Mihama, Chatan, Okinawa every year

Okinawa Solution Center 1 of BellSystem24 volunteers to participate in light installation at American Village, the neighboring commercial facilities in Mihama, Chatan, Okinawa every year. This is the 11th year that BellSystem24 has participated in the event.

The familiar rails and arches are decorated with 25,000 light bulbs.

Light bulbs are installed on the railings inside the facilities.

The illumination was unveiled at a lighting ceremony on November 16. The mayor of Chatan, the chairperson of the Chatan Town Tourist Association, and the vice chairperson of the American Village Trade Association participated in the ceremony, and all of the participants joined a count down.

BellSystem24 will continue to participate in the annual activity.

Blood donation can save lives and make people smile. The Kobe Solution Center participates in a group blood donation drive for five consecutive years

For five consecutive years, BellSystem24's Kobe Solution Center has held a group blood donation drive. About 100 employees participate every year.

The blood donation drive took place the week following the West Japan floods in July 2018. It was hard to secure a sufficient quantity of blood due to the West Japan floods at that time. This year, about 90 employees donated blood.
"I was scared at first, but I'm very satisfied now because I can contribute to society. This is the second time for me. I would like to continue to donate blood as long as I work here," commented one of the participants.

We again understood the great importance and significant social contribution of blood donation. The donated blood can save the lives of patients and make their families smile. BellSystem24 will continue this initiative.

BellSystem24 volunteers clean Mihama Beach in Chatan, Okinawa for ten consecutive years

The goal of the initiative is to clean the beach that is five minutes' walk from BellSystem24's Okinawa Solution Center. Participants collect the garbage that has washed onto shore prior to high season. The American Village Trade Association initiated the cleaning activity. BellSystem24 is a member of the association. This is the 11th year for BellSystem24 to participate.Little children work hard at the event. They are the family members of employees that participate every year.

Participants gather the collected garbage in one place. This time, participants collected two truckloads of garbage.
Many participants successfully cleaned the beach on a fine day.

BellSystem24 will continue to hold the events to contribute to communities.
